With the season ending and the Portland Trail Blazers ready to leave it behind with hopes for bigger and better returns next season, the team did little to avoid the 91-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns (lead mostly by backups) this evening. However, veteran forward Travis Outlaw found opportunity and did what he could to enjoy it, going 8-of-19 from the floor, 2-of-5 from the three-point line, and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe to score 24 points, also adding 12 rebounds to the top effort for Portland on the evening.

Travis Outlaw moved into the starting lineup and didn't respond as he was held to just 10 points on 3 of 13 shooting on Wednesday night. Outlaw kept alive his streak of 10-point plus games at seven, but this was his least impressive outing in the bunch as he also recorded just three rebounds without a single assist.

Travis Outlaw had his third straight game of at least 19 points with a team-high 26 points on Friday night. Outlaw was also fairly efficient making 8 of 14 shots while turning the rock over only one time.

Travis Outlaw scored 19 points off the bench though he hit only 6 of 16 shots on Thursday night. Outlaw has now taken 34 shots and scored 42 points the past two games, all of this despite scoring 13 points per game on 11.1 attempts over the course of the year. If he keeps jacking them up, look for his point totals to remain strong.

Travis Outlaw's 23 points was Portland's only bright spot on Tuesday night as the Trailblazers fell to the Bibby-less Kings 105-94. The loss was the Blazers fifth straight. Outlaw came off the bench to shoot 11-of-18 from the floor and record five rebounds in 27 minutes of action.
