Boris Diaw played 30 minutes off of the bench in the Suns 113-103 win over the Pacers on Wednesday. Although he had just 12 points, he was able to contribute five rebounds, six assists and three blocks.

Our View:Diaw has been underwhelming this season and he should be able to produce games like this more often. However, the Suns were without Shaquille O'Neal most of the night, and Diaw can't be trusted to consistently produce. He is a borderline worthy fantasy player.

Boris Diaw continues to start for the Phoenix Suns in the preseason. On Tuesday, he finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals in 36 minutes as Phoenix defeated the Clippers 86-69.

Our View:It doesn't seem likely he starts in the regular season as Amare Stoudemire, Shaquille O'Neal and either Grant Hill or Matt Barnes should take up all the spots in the frontcourt. However, it is quite possible the Diaw earns 30 minutes per game and he should be able to bounce back from last season's disappointing production.

There have been apparent trade talks between the Suns and Toronto Raptors regarding a Boris Diaw-for-T.J. Ford exchange according to azcentral.com. The Raptors would also include the no. 17 pick.

Our View:Why the Phoenix Suns would be interested in Ford is perplexing, especially while they still have Steve Nash and Leandro Barbosa on their roster. Regardless, the Suns are eager to move Diaw's four years and $36 million contract. Numerous reports have them aggressively shopping both him and Barbosa.
