Althogh Dwyane Wade missed 11-of-18 shots from the floor and 8-of-16 shots from the line Tuesday, he refused to blame his sore right shoulder for his inaccuracy, the AP reports. "I was just missing shots," he said. "It wasn't their defense, it was nothing they did special."

Dwyane Wade was cleared by the team’s medical staff to return to the court last week, but told the Miami Herald on Wednesday that he still must put his body through more rigorous tests before he’s comfortable enough to return. “I feel my explosion coming back a little bit,” Wade said. “I can’t explain it. I’ll just know when I know.”

November 4, 2007
Dwyane Wade probably will take part in his first full-contact practice on Monday. If all goes well, he could make his season debut sometime next week, according to the Miami Herald. Wade is working his way back from offseason knee and shoulder surgeries, so it's possible he could face a setback. But at this point, he's ahead of schedule in his recovery and looking good for those who took a shot on him in the first round or two of their drafts.
November 2, 2007
Having sufficiently recovered from shoulder and knee surgeries, Dwyane Wade has been cleared to play. "His conditioning is not to the level that he needs it to be for the kind of game we need from him, but this is a big step for us," Riley said, according to the AP. "We're not going to have any kind of watch. I think when he decides to play is the day you'll know about it." Speak for yourself, Riley -- fantasy folk already have a vigil going. Wade hasn't been taking contact in practice, so that will be a key step as he gets into game shape. Riley said he'd talk to Wade Saturday, at which point we may have a more specific timeline for Wade's return.
October 28, 2007
Dwyane Wade continues to make significant progress in his recovery from offseason shoulder and knee surgeries. The original date set for Wade to begin practicing without limitations was Nov. 15, but he thinks he might get going before then, according to the Miami Herald. Barring a setback, Wade could make his season debut in late November or early December. He's going no later than the second round in most drafts, despite his situation.
July 17, 2007
Dwyane Wade confirmed Monday what many had already expected - that he won't be ready for the start of the 2007-08 season. Wade, who is recovering from shoulder and knee surgeries, said he might not be ready for game action until November. "I'm comfortable with it," he said in the Miami Herald. "I understood when I had surgery that it was going to be a six-month [process]. I want to make sure I'm healthy as possible so I can play the most games I can play without going in and out of the lineup."
May 15, 2007
Heat guard Dwyane Wade had surgery on his left shoulder and knee on Tuesday, and will likely need the rest of the offseason to recover. The AP reports that Wade, who missed 31 games last season primarily due to a dislocated left shoulder suffered in February, actually had more pain in his knee than his shoulder when he returned because he suffered from “jumper’s knee.” A rehab timetable hasn’t been set, but coach Pat Riley said last week that it might take six months for Wade to fully recover from both procedures. Miami guard Jason Williams had a similar surgery last July and experienced pain for most of the first half of the regular season.
May 11, 2007
Dwyane Wade could undergo surgeries on both his left knee and left shoulder next week, according to the Miami Herald. Coach Pat Riley was uncertain whether Wade would be ready for the start of the season, but considering a six-month recovery process is expected, it appears unlikely. "We'd like to have everybody ready for training camp," Riley said. "But when you're talking about some surgeries that might take six months, then you can't put a timetable on it, and I won't do it."
May 3, 2007
Dwyane Wade will make a decision in the next few days regarding whether or not he'll undergo surgery on his left shoulder and left knee, according to the Miami Herald. "He's got to make a decision on doing both things either right now or doing one thing," Riley said of the potential surgeries. "If he's going to do one thing, he's probably going to have to do his knee. If he doesn't do his shoulder, the percentages are high that it's going to [dislocate again]. He's also a human being that's going to have a child and just needs to rest." Wade's shoulder surgery would require anywhere from four to six months of rehabilitation, and the knee surgery would be more indefinite.
April 30, 2007
Dwyane Wade will likely still undergo surgery to repair his left shoulder, the Miami Herald reports. Assuming he has the procedure, he'll need 4-6 months of rehab time and won't be able to play in the Olympic qualifier this summer.

Wade has been out since February 21.

April 4, 2007
Dwyane Wade was clearly still favoring his left shoulder during portions of Monday's practice, Pat Riley told the Miami Herald. The workout Monday was Wade's first in six weeks as he comes back from a dislocated shoulder. "We'll find out where they force him defensively, and we'll find out where he wants to go," Riley said. "But I think eventually, once he gets out on the court and takes a few hits and realizes there's no problem with it, then I think he'll just continue to play."
April 2, 2007
Dwyane Wade returned to practice on Monday, nearly six weeks after suffering a dislocated shoulder, according to the AP. He worked out on the court for 90 minutes pain-free. "The fact that he's back practicing is huge," Heat coach Pat Riley said. "You go back to Feb. 23, it didn't look like there was going to be any of that stuff. So this is great." March 25, 2007
Dwyane Wade still has no timetable set for his return from a dislocated shoulder, though he's hoping to be ready for the playoffs, according to the Miami Herald. "From a rehab standpoint, everything the doctors tell me, is they took another MRI and things seem to be healing, tightening up," coach Pat Riley said. "Can he play basketball? I don't know. He's throwing a heavy ball around. One of the exercises is to get his arms up higher and higher. He's dribbling every day."
March 19, 2007
Dwyane Wade continues to rehab his dislocated shoulder but has no timetable set for a return to game action, according to the Miami Herald. "He seems to be progressing," coach Pat Riley said. "They're advancing with their drill work. He feels stronger, but we won't know for a while exactly when the day comes that he could play, so we're not even thinking about it right now."
March 5, 2007
Dwyane Wade has decided to delay surgery and rehabilitate his dislocated shoulder with the hopes of returning to action this season, according to ESPN.com. "My decision for the next two to three weeks is to rehab with the possibility of coming back, but with no guarantee," Wade said. "I'll find out after therapy and rehab how my body responds to things." Even if Wade returns this year, he's still expected to undergo surgery at the end of the season.

Dwyane Wade has confirmed that he'll eventually need to undergo surgery on is dislocated shoulder, although it remains to be seen when that might be, as he's still considering rehab as a short-term option, according to the Palm Beach Post. "The reports are accurate," said Wade, whose arm is in a sling. "It's eventually surgery. It will be a few days before a decision is made on the rest of Dwyane Wade's season, the Miami Herald reports. Wade is looking at essentially two choices: shoulder surgery - which would end his season - or trying to rehab the injury and come back in about six weeks. "It's a significant injury, and we're obviously looking at some time where, with any of the options provided, we will be playing without him," Miami GM Randy Pfund said.
