LeBron James was a wrecking crew on Friday, blasting the Bulls for 29 points, 11 boards, seven assists, two steals and two blocks in a 92-85 win.

Our View:There's no doubt why the Cavs have the best record in the NBA, and one need only looks at the King's line night after night. Voters will be hard pressed not to hand the man a second straight MVP award.
March 17, 2010
LeBron James was a one-man nightmare for the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, scoring 32 points while grabbing nine rebounds to go along with nine assists as he made many crucial plays down the stretch in Cleveland's 99-94 win.

Our View:He might not win the MVP award again this season, but there's simply no player more essential to his team's success in the entire NBA.
March 16, 2010
LeBron James was superhuman once again on Tuesday as his 29 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists were good for his fourth triple-double of the season and a 113-101 win over the Pistons.

Our View:His last triple-double came against the Nuggets on February 18th, but the Cavs fell in that game. Miraculously Cleveland is just 2-2 on the season when the King performs this majestic feat.
March 14, 2010
LeBron James carried the Cavs with 30 points in Sunday's 104-93 home win over the Celtics, to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three blocks.

Our View:James had a great overall stat-line for fantasy owners, and he averages 31 points, nine rebounds and 7.6 assists over his last three outings.
March 12, 2010
LeBron James carried the Cavs with 23 points and 10 assists in Friday's 100-95 win at Philadelphia, to go along with six assists, one steal and three blocks.

Our View:James had a good overall stat-line for fantasy owners, after sitting out the previous two games to rest. He collected his third straight double-double, and averages 29.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 10 assists over that span.
March 11, 2010
LeBron James (ankle) will return to the Cavs lineup on Friday against the Sixers, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:After two games of rest, he should be re-energized and ready to dominate during the stretch run.
March 9, 2010
LeBron James is expected to return to practice on Thursday and suit up Friday against the 76ers, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:James has missed the Cavaliers' past two games, and while he does have a few bumps and bruises, his resting was more a case of allowing him to get re-energized than him really being all that hurt. Expect him to return to putting up his gaudy numbers starting Friday.
March 8, 2010
Updating an earlier report, LeBron James won't play tonight against the Spurs, according to Brian Windhorst's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:James is believed to be dealing with a sore foot/ankle, and the Cavs will be cautious with the stud small forward. Fantasy owners should not currently be concerned about him.
March 8, 2010
LeBron James' status remains iffy for tonight's game against San Antonio, according to the Akron Beacon Journal.

Our View:James does appear to be dealing with a sore foot and/or ankle, though Cavs head coach Mike Brown said that he could have played against Milwaukee on Saturday if need be. With three days off after tonight's affair, expect LeBron to sit one more game out, as it would end up providing him with a full week's rest to re-energize for the final stretch of the season. James is still in line to play two games this week, and given that two games of LeBron is better than three or four games from most other players in the league, we'd suggest that you keep him in your lineup if you have to decide by today.
March 6, 2010
LeBron James will sit out tonight's game at Milwaukee, according to Brian Windhorst's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:James is merely sitting out to rest, and fantasy owners shouldn't be concerned other than having to set lineups without him tonight.
March 5, 2010
LeBron James carried the Cavs with a game-high 40 points in Friday's 99-92 home win over the Pistons, to go along with 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks.

March 3, 2010
LeBron James did it again on Wednesday, posting 26 points, seven rebounds, 14 assists and three steals in a convincing 111-92 win over the Nets.

Our View:LeBron was 10-of-18 from the field, but didn't make a single three in four chances. Still, owners have nothing to complain about as he posted another double-double and his production is unparalleled.
March 2, 2010
LeBron James has filed the necessary paperwork to switch his jersey number next year, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I've done it," James said. "I already sent it in. I'm going to be No. 6."

Our View:James is apparently making the switch partly out of respect for Michael Jordan, and also partly because he wore No. 6 in the Olympics two years back. While the move will certainly result in a boost of merchandise sales, it's worth noting that players do not directly benefit from such sales; the money brought in goes into a league-wide pool that is distributed to teams and then players based on seniority. With all of this said, the name of the team on James' jersey next year remains just a <i>bit</i> more intriguing of a question than whether or not the NBA will approve his number switch.
March 1, 2010
LeBron James banged in a game-high 22 points in Monday's 124-93 home win over the Knicks, to go along with seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks.

Our View:James got the job done for Cleveland - but failed to impress fantasy owners, as he was averaging 30 points heading into the contest. He was coming off a 36-point performance at Toronto as well.
February 28, 2010

February 25, 2010
As usual, LeBron James led the way on Thursday night, scoring 36 points to go along with seven rebounds and nine assists in Cleveland's 108-88 flattening of the Celtics.

Our View:King James also turned the ball over only twice. Simply magnificent.
February 23, 2010
LeBron James scored 20 points with 13 assists and five rebounds in Cleveland's win over the Hornets on Tuesday night.

Our View:The King added two steals and two three-pointers. Games like this won't help his chances of winning the NBA scoring title with guys like Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony continuing to score in bunches, though LeBron's fantasy owners can't complain when he decides to get a bit unselfish and ends up with 13 assists.
February 21, 2010
LeBron James couldn't pull out a win against Orlando on Sunday but did log 33 points with nine rebounds and six assists.

Our View:Just another day at the gym for King James, who tapered right around his season averages across the board. The Cavs will have Monday off before coming back home to face the Hornets.
February 19, 2010
LeBron James banged in a team-high 22 points in Friday's 110-93 loss at Charlotte. He also had three rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

February 14, 2010
LeBron James chipped in 25 points in tonight's 141-139 win over the West in the All-Star Game, to go along with five rebounds, six assists and four steals.

Our View:The elite small forward gave his fans a good show at Cowboys Stadium. James was averaging 36.7 points over his last four games with the Cavs.
February 13, 2010
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Cavs are debating whether to try and trade for Antawn Jamison or Amar'e Stoudemire before February 18's deadline.

Our View:Obviously, they couldn't land both. Acquiring Stoudemire at this point in the season would almost seem like too drastic of a change. Expect them zero in on the more blendable, and cheaper, Jamison.
February 11, 2010
LeBron James was just two rebounds short of a triple-double on Thursday, as he collected 32 points, eight boards and 13 assists in a 115-106 win over the Magic.

Our View:James was 10-of-21 and buried 2-of-6 from three-point land in the contest. He's been red hot in February, averaging 34 points and 11 assists per game, and it wouldn't surprise us if he kept it up all month.
February 9, 2010
Playing against an undermanned and overwhelmed Nets team on Tuesday, LeBron James scored 32 points and dished out 11 assists in Cleveland's 104-97 win.

Our View:What is there to say? It would have been more newsworthy had LeBron not done this against the Nets. Stay tuned for more greatness.

Our View:The NBA superstar reached at least 40 points for the sixth time, and came close to topping his season-high of 48 points (vs. Atlanta).
February 6, 2010
According to the New York Post, Knicks president Donnie Walsh "nearly spit up his morning coffee" when TNT analyst Reggie Miller recently stated "(the Knicks) are not getting LeBron James."

Our View:The paper then claims that Walsh was "so concerned, he called up his former Indiana star to find out if Miller had inside information." Miller said that he did not, and was simply stating an opinion. Expect many, many exchanges like this in the coming months.
February 4, 2010
LeBron James carried the Cavs with a game-high 36 points in Thursday's 102-86 home win over the Heat, to go along with seven rebounds, eight assists and two steals.

Our View:The stud small forward performed up to high expectations for fantasy owners tonight, and he topped 30 points for the 10th time in his last 14 contests.
February 2, 2010
LeBron James led all scorers with 22 points and collected six rebounds, 15 assists, a steal and a block in the Cavs' 105-89 win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Our View:James went 7-of-14 from the field (one three-pointer) and put up his highest assist total of the season. His unselfishness explains why he didn't finish with a more gaudy point total.
January 31, 2010
LeBron James dropped 30 points, three rebounds and 11 assists on the Clippers Sunday en route to a 114-89 win.

Our View:LeBron had his shot working, nailing 10-of-20 from the field and draining five of his six attempts from downtown. The only perplexing part of his game was the surprisingly low rebound total. It was just one better than his worst effort of the season.
January 29, 2010
LeBron James was good for 23 points, nine rebounds, 13 assists, two steals and four blocks on Friday as the Cavs blew out the Pacers 94-73.

Our View:Despite being just one board shy of a triple-double, LeBron shot just 6-of-18 and put up a goose egg in four attempts from behind the arc. He also committed six turnovers and made just 11-of-21 free throws. Talk about a hot and cold night.
January 28, 2010
LeBron James was fined $25,000 by the league on Thursday for kicking a water bottle during Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves.

Our View:Twenty-five grand is a drop in the bucket for LeBron, so this isn't a big deal. He won't face any further reprimand, but is interesting to know that the league isn't afraid to punish the NBA's biggest name and brightest star.
January 27, 2010
Despite a season-low 12 points from LeBron James on Wednesday night, the Cavs still managed to deck the Timberwolves, 109-95.

Our View:LeBron did add 11 assists, however. Expect his 12 points to remain a season-low for the duration of 2009-10.
January 25, 2010
LeBron James carried the Cavs with 32 points in Monday's 92-91 win at Miami, to go along with nine rebounds, four assists and one steal.

January 19, 2010
LeBron James came very close to a triple-double on Tuesday, scoring 28 points to go along with nine rebounds and 11 assists in Cleveland's 108-100 victory over the Raptors.

Our View:His last triple-double came on December 23, a span of 12 games. Stop slacking, LeBron.
January 15, 2010
LeBron James sustained eye and ankle injuries in last night's battle with Utah, but the elite forward is expected to play in tomorrow's game against the Clippers, according to Brian Windhorst's (Cleveland Plain Dealer) twitter page.

Our View:As of now, James should be OK to keep penciled into fantasy lineups.
January 13, 2010
The Heat are very interested in trying to sign free-agent-to-be LeBron James next summer, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:However, keeping Dwyane Wade remains the club's number one goal. Were they able to land both superstars, the NBA would likely have its 2010-11 title favorites.
January 10, 2010
LeBron James blew up for 41 points, ten rebounds and eight assists in Sunday's 106-94 trouncing of the Blazers.

Our View:What a complete shooting effort by LeBron. He hit 13-of-19 shots from the field, 3-of-4 from downtown and 12-of-14 from the line. When he's on like this, the Cavs just don't lose. He now has 76 points in his last two games and earned his first double-double of the month.

January 3, 2010
LeBron James led the Cavs with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists, but they were snake-bitten by the Bobcats, losing 91-88.

Our View:James puts up stellar number nearly every night regardless of the outcome of the game. He's averaging nearly 23 PPG against the Bobcats this year, which is actually a step down from his 29-point season average.
January 2, 2010
LeBron James dominated once again on Saturday locking down 28 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, a steal and two blocks in a 94-86 win over the Nets.

Our View:King James was 7-of-16 from the field, 1-of-4 from behind the arc and nailed 13-of-15 free throws in the game. The effort seems dwarfed by his 48 point explosion last time out, but it was yet another profitable performance for fantasy owners.
