Mike Wilks, the third string point guard in Orlando, will be lost for the season after tearing his ACL and partially tearing his MCL, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "Mike can't have surgery for four weeks" agent Bill Neff said in an e-mail. "He'll be out at least 6 months."

Our View:The loss of Wilks puts more pressure on Jameer Nelson and Anthony Johnson to handle the workload of distributing the ball for the Magic.

Mike Wilks had to be helped off the court after injuring his knee in Thursday's exhibtion, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Our View:Wilks was battling for a spot on the roster and this will obviously set him back. Anthony Johnson figures to be the backup point guard in Orlando this season.

Mike Wilks has inked a one-year deal with the Magic worth $1.04 million, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Our View:He will hold no fantasy value while working as the No. 3 point guard behind Jameer Nelson and Anthony Johnson.
