July 2, 2008 The New Jersey Nets are targeting Roger Mason Jr in free agency, according to the Our View:This may be a precursor to moving Vince Carter. A long list of shooting guards are rumored targets of the Nets this offseason. |

May 9, 2008 The Wizards expect free agent guard Roger Mason Jr to sign elsewhere when he becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, the Our View:The Wizards need to concentrate on bringing back Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison. Mason will probably be able to find more money and a sixth or seventh-man role somewhere. He seems to have found a nice niche as a hot-shooting chucker off the bench. |

April 24, 2008 Roger Mason Jr had a big game of the bench for the Wizards in Game 3 as he scored 18 points, including two 3-pointers, in the club's victory over the Cavs. Our View:Mason scored zero points in Game 1, 10 in Game 2 and 18 tonight. So that means he should be good for about 34 next time out right? |
