Earl Watson played well in 34 minutes as the Thunder lost to the Nuggets on Wednesday. He finished with 18 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and two steals. He shot 7-of-14 from the field.

Our View:Watson will rarely lead the team in shots or log more minutes than Russell Westbrook like he did tonight. Don't expect a sudden outburst of production from the backup point guard.

The AP reports that Earl Watson had to receive three stitiches above his right eye after receiving a Thabo Sefolosha elbow in practice on Monday.

Our View:Watson should be able to play in the Thunder's next game. Aside from his 5.8 assists per game, he provides very little fantasy value.

Earl Watson came off the bench Friday night and shot 3-of-8 from the field for 11 points in the Thunder's 107-104 loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Our View:Watson logs a lot of minutes off the bench for Oklahoma City, but his offensive deficiencies are not worth the risk in any league. Despite averaging over 26 minutes per game this season, Watson is shooting 27 percent (13-of-48) from behind the arc and under 40 percent from the field.
