May 27, 2008 Guard Tony Parker and the Spurs now face a daunting proposition after suffering the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, 93-91, in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Parker shot 8-of-17 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line to score 23 points, adding nine assists and four rebounds to the cause. Our View:Despite Parker's efforts and the impressive performance from teammate Tim Duncan, the Spurs now face a 3-1 deficit in the series, and the ability to prevail may be all but lost. |
