Updating an earlier report, Jamaal Tinsley signed with the Grizzlies, according to the Associated Press. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Our View:Tinsley is a talented shooter, but has not played since 2007-08 after falling out of favor with the Pacers. He is getting another chance to prove his worth with Memphis, but does not yet garner fantasy attention.

The New York Daily News is reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies are expected to sign former Pacers' guard Jamaal Tinsley. Tinsley missed the entire 2008-2009 season after being sent away by Indiana due to personal conduct.

Our View:It looks like the Grizzlies have a thing for troubled guards, and considering how well the Allen Iverson experiment is going, it makes perfect sense to bring in Tinsley. All joking aside, he will likely be on a short leash with this team, and as a backup to Mike Conley he isn't likely to have much, if any, fantasy value this season.

Jamaal Tinsley reportedly turned down a one-year offer from the Miami Heat, according to the New York Post.

Our View:The offer was an un-guaranteed veteran's minimum salary. He wanted it to be guaranteed. He is already being paid by his former team, the Indiana Pacers, for both this season and next, so he apparently has little urgency to catch on somewhere.
