Steven Hunter, who returned from his knee injury on Monday, has admitted that he may have returned a bit early, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I hate being in there getting treatment, not being able to do stuff - I just hate that," Hunter said. "I may be coming back a little early, but I think I'm in good enough shape to play." He had missed five games with the injury.

The Hornets have called off the Steven Hunter trade, because they had concerns regarding Hunter's physical condition following his physical. "New Orleans informed us today that they were rescinding the trade for Steven Hunter," Philadelphia GM Billy King said. "They had some concerns after Steven's physical examination and feel that rescinding the trade is in their best interest. This will not prohibit Steven from playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. We expect to have him back in a 76ers uniform shortly."
