Eddy Curry, who is coming back from arthroscopic surgery on his knee, will join the Knicks summer league team next month in Las Vegas, according to the New York Post.

Our View:Curry average 13.2 points and 4.7 boards last year though he was limited to just 59 games. Pretty much everything went wrong for the Knicks last year, including Curry's injury, but it's a good sign that the veteran is willing to go to Vegas to work on his game, though it is unclear if he will actually appear in any games.

Following a report from earlier in the week, New York Knicks center Eddy Curry will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, ending his disappointing season, according to the Associated Press. Curry will have a piece of torn cartilage removed next week, the Knicks said Friday. Recovery time is expected to be four to six weeks. Curry has been one of few bright spots for the Knicks this season and now the hope of a full recovery takes over and spills into next season.

Eddy Curry has a vertical carilage tear in his right knee and may need season ending surgery, according to the NY Post. He will undergo aggressive treatment over the next few days to try to postpone the surgery until the end of the season. Curry may attempt to play again if the pain and swelling can go away.
