Mike D'Antoni has agreed to coach the New York Knicks, according to Fox Sports. The deal is reportedly for four years at around $6 million per season.

Our View:D'Antoni has led the Suns to three Pacific Division titles and two trips to the Western Conference finals in his four full seasons as coach. He has compiled a 232-96 record, including 55-27 last season. He likes to employ an exciting run-and-gun style, which should satisfy the home crowd at Madison Square Garden, especiallly if the Knicks start to win.

Stephon Marbury could be back with the Knicks next season. New president Donnie Walsh wants Marbury to come back from his ankle surgery and be the starting point guard in 2008-09. "He told Stephon he wants him back at the same high level he knows he's capable of," a source tells FoxSports.com. "It was positive."

Our View:Marbury is in need of a clean slate, whether it be with the Knicks or another organization. We believe he can still be a quality fantasy guard, but he needs to prove he's healthy and needs to work within the next head coach's system. Only time will tell if that can happen.

New York Knicks head coach Isiah Thomas has apparently already been told he will not return next season, ending a disastrous two-year tenure on the bench, this according to the Sports Network. The Knicks closed out a 23-59 season on Wednesday with a 132-123 loss to the Indiana Pacers, giving Thomas a record of 56-108 in his two years after replacing Larry Brown.

Our View:No replacement has been rumored yet.
