Player Notes
Ervin Santana, P Sunday 9/5, 7:55 PM CT
Ervin Santana allowed two earned runs (three total) over six innings against the A's on Sunday.

Our View:He gave up six hits and four walks but was able to minimize the damage. Santana earned the win, improving to 15-9.
Bobby Abreu, RF Sunday 9/5, 7:49 PM CT
Bobby Abreu went 2-for-4 with a homer, a steal, three runs and three RBI against the A's on Sunday.

Our View:Abreu had been slumping of late, so it was nice to see him get back into the swing of things. He has 17 homer and 18 steals on the year and should have the ninth 20-20 season of his career by the end of the month.
Torii Hunter, CF Saturday 9/4, 7:23 PM CT
Torii Hunter went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Los Angeles' 3-1 loss to the A's on Saturday.

Our View:The homer was his 19th of the season. He is just one bomb away from his ninth 20-homer campaign.
