Player Notes
Jorge De La Rosa, P Sunday 9/5, 7:18 PM CT
Jorge De La Rosa gave up two runs over six innings in a win against the Padres on Sunday.

Our View:De La Rosa has given up no more than three runs in any of his past nine starts, and no more than two runs in any of his past four. He should make for a nice play the rest of this season.
Troy Tulowitzki, SS Sunday 9/5, 7:16 PM CT
Troy Tulowitzki hit a homer and stole a base against the Padres on Sunday.

Our View:The do-it-all shortstop now has 14 homers and 10 steals this season over 97 games. He's gone 7-for-17 with six runs and six RBI over his past four games.
Jason Hammel, P Saturday 9/4, 6:42 PM CT
Jason Hammel held the Padres to six hits and two runs in 6.2 innings of work on Saturday, improving to 10-7 on the year in Colorado's 6-2 win. He struck out three and walked one.

Our View:The quality start was his fourth in six outings dating back to August 6. He'll have to continue to be as effective if the Rockies want to sneak into the playoffs.
