Grady Sizemore to skip WBC
Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Cleveland Indians centerfielder Grady
Sizemore will miss the upcoming World Baseball Classic because of a sore left
groin.
Sizemore, who was expected to share center field duties with Detroit's Curtis
Granderson for Team USA, has been nursing the injury for the last week,
according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
The 26-year-old Sizemore had gone 3-for-6 with a double and two RBI in the
Indians' first two Cactus League games. He tested the groin by stealing a base
in Thursday's win over Arizona, but felt pain afterward.

Our View:A typically strong all-around effort from Choo, who has to be one of the most underrated players in baseball at this point. Through 119 games, he has 66 runs, 69 RBI and 17 stolen bases. |

Our View:A great night for Talbot, who hasn't had many lately. He'll draw a much tougher assignment his next time out, when he'll take on the Twins in Minnesota. Don't expect a repeat of tonight. |
