According to the Chicago Tribune, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen difused any rumors about including Gordon Beckham in a future trade.

Our View:"We plan to have Gordon for a long time," Guillen said. Every trade the White Sox want to make, people think they're going to make with the White Sox (involves) Gordon, (Gavin) Floyd and (John) Danks. Those names are going to come up. And we have to deal with that every time they talk about the White Sox trying to make a deal. We got to stay on our toes. There's nothing out there." He could be posturing here, because we think the Sox would give the moon and the stars for Adrian Gonzalez. Beckham is safe in Chi-town for the time being, but people might change their tune around July when the trade deadline is looming.

Gordon Beckham does not want to serve in the leadoff role with the Sox in 2010, according to the Chicago Tribune. Beckham said, "I have heard the rumors. I kind of hope I do not lead off. I have never lead off before."

Our View:The Sox need a leadoff hitter, and are believed to have Coco Crisp and Brett Gardner on their radar. Scott Podsednik, who held the leadoff spot in 2009, is garnering interest from the Tigers, Giants, Royals and cross-town rival Cubs. Skipper Ozzie Guillen recently said he would like to use Beckham in the No. 6 or 7 spot in the batting order.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen would like to bat Gordon Beckham out of the six or seven hole next season, according to MLBlogs.com.

Our View:He calls Beckham a good "RBI man," and not a great fit for the leadoff spot, where he is currently slated. Wherever he hits, he's going to be a breakout fantasy candidate, though more so if he bats down in the order.

Gordon Beckham has been slated to start at second base for the White Sox in 2010, according to MLB.com.

Our View:This news comes after the Sox traded Chris Getz and Josh Fields to Kansas City to acquire Mark Teahen, who will start at third base.

Tuesday night's game between the White Sox and Indians bas been postponed due to rain, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:So if you have any eligible bench players, get them in your lineup for all your Indians and White Sox players and take advantage of being given an extra game. The two teams will play a double-header tomorrow.
