LaTroy Hawkins experienced soreness in his right elbow Sunday, a day after making back-to-back appearances for Triple-A Colorado Springs on his rehab assignment. Hawkins has been out since April 20 with inflammation in his elbow. He was expected to be activated on Wednesday, but this development undoubtedly will push that date back.

The Rockies should get LaTroy Hawkins back in the mix for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks. He's slated to work today and tomorrow for Triple-A Colorado Springs, take two days off, then be activated from the disabled list Wednesday, according to the Rocky Mountain News. He's been sidelined by an inflamed pitching elbow. Don't expect much from him in fantasy terms, as he has an 8.59 ERA and isn't likely to even pick up stray saves.

LaTroy Hawkins, on the disabled list with elbow problems, could begin a rehab assignment this weekend, according to the Rocky Mountain News. It's possible he could rejoin the Rockies in 10 days. Due to the emergence of Manuel Corpas, Hawkins is no longer second in the pecking order behind Brian Fuentes, so he has very little use in fantasy.

An MRI revealed that LaTroy Hawkins has no structural damage in his inflamed pitching elbow, according to the Denver Post. He won't be ready to come off the disabled list when eligible next Sunday, though.
