Our View:Arencibia is enjoying a nice power surge, as he launched his third homer of spring training. He looks to have a good shot of winning the No. 3 role at catcher in Toronto this season, but won't hold any real fantasy value as long as John Buck and Jose Molina are healthy. |

March 4, 2010 J.P. Arencibia crushed a two-run homer off Zach Miner to break a 7-7 tie in today's game against Detroit. The Jays went on to win 9-7. Our View:His blast impressed skipper Cito Gaston, who noted that Arencibia could be a legit catcher. He could win the No. 3 spot behind John Buck and Jose Molina, but his fantasy value would be limited. |
