Burke Badenhop underwent an MRI Monday, which revealed no ligament damage, according to FishStripes.com. The righty was placed on the DL on Sunday with right shoulder tendinitis.

Our View:There is currently no timetable for Badenhop's return, but the good news on the MRI could mean he may start his rehab soon.

The Florida Marlins have placed pitcher Burke Badenhop on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis, according to the Sports Network.

Our View:In 13 appearances this season (eight starts), Badenhop has gone 2-3 with a 6.08 ERA. To fill the roster spot, the Marlins have recalled outfielder Jai Miller from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Burke Badenhop has been bumped to the bullpen, according to the Palm Beach Post. He will be replaced by Ryan Tucker, who made his major league debut Sunday. "They were looking for a shot in the arm in the starting rotation and (Tucker) absolutely earned a shot," Badenhop said. "I'm lucky enough that I can go out there and relieve. If I couldn't relieve I wouldn't be here."

Our View:Badenhop holds a 6.38 ERA in 11 games (eight starts) this year. He can be dropped in all formats.

The Marlins have pushed Burke Badenhop's start back a few times, but he is now set to take the mound tonight against the Braves, according to MLB.com.

Our View:This will be his eighth major league start, and was roughed up by the Braves in his previous outing on April 24 as he surrendered six runs in five innings. Badenhop holds a 1-3 record with a 6.75 ERA and 1.56 WHIP, and should not be considered for your lineups.

Burke Badenhop will be working out of the bullpen for the next few days while the Marlins figure out their rotation, according to MLB.com. Badenhop was set to start last Saturday at home against the Giants, but the game was rained out. With an off-day on Thursday, the team hasn't decided when Badenhop will start again.

Our View:Badenhop should not be considered for your lineup, as he is 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 34.2 innings.
