According to the St. Petersburg Times, Jeremy Hellickson has been promoted to Triple-A Durham and will get the start there on Friday.

Our View:Hellickson is moving through the minors. He's one of the Rays' top prospects and if he continues his dominance once he gets to Triple-A don't rule out a September call-up when the rosters expand. Hellickson was 3-1 with a 2.38 ERA in Double-A and struck out 62 in 56.2 innings.

Our View:After posting an amazing 83 to five K/BB ratio, it was clear that Hellickson wasn't getting much of anything from dominating over matched hitters.

Jeremy Hellickson improved to 4-0 for High-A Vero Beach on Wednesday after allowing two runs on five hits in six innings. He struck out nine batters.

Our View:The 2005 fourth-round pick has an incredible 58/3 K/BB ratio in 46.2 innings this season, emerging as one of the top pitching prospects in the game. Not surprisingly, his ERA is down to 1.35. He is showing that he is ready for Double-A.
