Alexei Ramirez had a single and a three-run homer in Chicago's win over Seattle Monday. He drove in four on the night.

Our View:With Carlos Quentin and Jermaine Dye on the year, Ramirez's production sometimes gets overlooked, but he's been terrific, hitting .308 with 14 homers and nine steals.

July 30, 2008
Chicago second baseman Alexei Ramirez was more than happy to provide a bit of offensive support for his White Sox this evening, going 2-for-5 in the 8-3 win over Minnesota, hitting his ninth homer of the season to total three RBIs and two runs scored.

Our View:Ramirez was hitting .354 through July heading into this game and now carries four homers for July forward. However, these are his first RBIs since July 23rd and his first homer since July 19th.

Alexei Ramirez continues to hit for the White Sox. On Tuesday he scored the winning run in the 13th to cap off a 4-for-6 night.

Our View:Following a June that saw him hit .355, Ramirez is hitting .435 so far in June.

Alexei Ramirez was caught stealing for the third time this season on Saturday night, but it was his only foible in a 3-for-3 effort with two runs scored and an RBI.

Our View:Ramirez started the year slowly, but he has clearly made Juan Uribe expendable with his production at the plate making him an asset in deep mixed leagues.

The White Sox and Indians battled through ten innings this evening with the Sox finding a way to win, 3-2. The offense lacked but second baseman Alexei Ramirez got the job done, going 1-for-3 with his sixth double of the season to total two RBIs and one run scored.

Our View:Ramirez hit a surprising .355 with thee homers and 17 RBIs las month, and now he's getting off to a strong start in July.
