MLB.com reports that the Angels have recalled outfielder Terry Evans from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Our View:Evans hit .291 with 26 homers and 90 RBI for Salt Lake this season, but likely won't see much time with the big club due to overpopulation in the outfield.

Terry Evans has been recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake by the Angels, according to TSN. Hurler Sean O'Sullivan was sent down as the adjoining move.

Our View:Evans was batting .290 with 19 homers and 66 RBI over 93 games in the minors prior to his demotion, and could see some action in the Angels' injury-depleted outfield. Evans is worth a look for deeper AL-only leagues.

The Angels optioned Terry Evans back to Triple-A Salt Lake on before Friday's game. He picked up two hits, including a home run, in his four at-bats since his recall.

The Angels recalled Terry Evans from Triple-A Salt Lake Sunday to replace the injured Garret Anderson on the roster. Evans was hitting .327 with 10 homers, 45 RBI and 13 steals for Salt Lake. He should get some playing time in the outfield against lefties.
