Dallas Braden only surrendered one earned run on five hits over seven innings in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Tigers at McAfee Coliseum. He issued one walk with three strikeouts.

Our View:This was a strong outing for Braden, and he lowers his ERA to 3.13. The young hurler was winless over his previous four starts, despite allowing two or less earned runs in each outing over the span. Keep him active in fantasy leagues while he is pitching well.

Our View:Braden was dealt a loss due to poor run support from his teammates, and he falls to 5-7 for the season - despite a 3.26 ERA. He has allowed two or less earned runs in each of his five starts this month, but only collected one win over the span. His fantasy stock would be higher if he played for a better team than the struggling Athletics.

Our View:Braden seems good for a quality start on most nights, but he is not much of a strikeout pitcher. He has a 3.33 ERA but just a 5-5 record. Behind a average offense, he would likely have a more impressive record.
