Reliever Willie Collazo was designated for assignment by the Mets because the team needs the room on their roster, according to the New York Daily News.

Our View:Collazo threw 5.2 innings this season, and had an ERA of 6.35 with a 2.12 WHIP. HE walked five and did not strike out a single batter.

Willie Collazo has returned to the minor leagues as Pedro Martinez has returned from the bereavement list, according to the New York Daily News.

Our View:Collazo did not even appear in a game in his brief time up and has no fantasy value.

Lefty reliever Willie Collazo has been recalled from Triple-A New Orleans, according to Newsday. Brandon Knight has been designated for assignment as the corresponding move.

Our View:He has been brought in to aid Aaron Heilman in the bullpen, who the club feels has been overworked. He isn't expected to stick with the club long, and doesn't merit fantasy attention.

The Mets optioned Willie Collazo to Triple-A New Orleans on Thursday, this according to Matthew Cerrone's Mets Blog. The left-hander pitched in six games last year throwing 5.2 innings, giving up seven hits and four earned runs. Collazo didn't strike any one out during his five innings plus but found a way to walk four. Fantasy owners won't be ogling his digits anytime soon.
