August 31, 2008 Infielder Brent Lillibridge is one of five Braves who know they will be coming up on Monday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Catcher Corky Miller and pitchers Charlie Morton, Jeff Ridgway, and James Parr are the others. Our View:Parr, 22, is the most interesting name. He is 13-7 with a 3.52 ERA and 125 strikeouts over 150.2 minor league innings. We don't suggest picking him up, but you should keep an eye on him if he gets a few starts. |

July 12, 2008 Not know for his offense with struggles in previous visits to the majors, Atlanta shortstop Brent Lillibridge got the job done at the plate this evening in support of the Braves 4-1 win over the Padres. Lillibridge went 2-for-3 with a double and a homer to total one RBI and two runs scored. Our View:Lillibridge gets his first homer of the season and his career in one night, and now we wait to see if he uses it to jump as an offensive threat. |

Our View:With both Chipper Jones and Yunel Escobar banged up, the Braves needed some depth on the infield.
