Jailen Peguero has been recalled from Triple-A to take the roster spot of the demoted Micah Owings, according to Dbacks.com.

Our View:Peguero will be used as a reliever, and in his three innings in the big leagues this year, he has allowed two earned runs. He is not a fantasy option.

Jailen Peguero has been optioned back to Triple-A, according to the AP. He has been sent down to free up a roster spot for Randy Johnson, who is expected to start his first game of the season on Monday.

Our View:He registered three strikeouts over three innings this season, but he once again holds no fantasy value.

The Diamondbacks optioned Jailen Peguero to Triple-A Tucson on Friday, according to the Arizona Republic. "I'd be shocked if Jailen Peguero wasn't a part of this team at some point during the season," manager Bob Melvin said. Peguero lost out to Brandon Medders and Yusmeiro Petit for the final spots in the bullpen, mostly due to a numbers crunch. He could be up relatively soon if either of them struggle early on.
