Drew Anderson, who was designated for assignment by Milwaukee last week, has been claimed off waivers by the Reds, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Anderson will compete for a bench job this spring, but he's a longshot for a job.

The Brewers designated Drew Anderson for assignment Tuesday to make room on the roster for Mike Cameron. Anderson spent most of the year at Triple-A Nashville, where he hit .273 with four home runs and 36 RBI in 108 games. He had one hit in nine at-bats with the Brewers.
