September 18, 2007 The Rangers have decided to shut Kason Gabbard down for the remainder of the year, according to the Dallas Morning News. He has been dealing with some soreness in his left forearm, and the club doesn't want to risk any further injury. "Maybe it's not such a bad thing," said Gabbard. "I've pitched more innings than ever before and if I can go up by 20 or so next year, I can get close to 200. I'm just not 100 percent and they don't want to take any chances." |
