Manuel Corpas has a slightly tweaked hamstring that kept him out of pitching drills on Sunday, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:The injury does not appear serious or likely to keep him out of throwing sessions for much longer. Look for him to compete with Taylor Buchholz for the right to set up closer Huston Street.

Less than a week after getting activated from the disabled list, Manuel Corpas will undergo surgery on Friday to have bone chips removed from his right elbow, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:He will be placed on the disabled list, and is not expected back until September. Corpas has not pitched well this season, and is not worth stashing.
