July 5, 2009
According to MLB.com, Tim Lincecum has been chosen to represent the NL in the 2009 All-Star game. He will be joined on the pitching staff by Heath Bell, Chad Billingsly, Jonathan Broxton, Matt Cain, Francisco Cordero, Ryan Franklin, Dan Haren, Josh Johnson, Ted Lilly, Jason Marquis, Francisco Rodriguez, and Johan Santana.

Our View:Lincecum figures to stand the best chance at starting the game, but there are several solid options for manager Charlie Manuel. Other options include Dan Haren and Lincecum's teammate Matt Cain.
July 4, 2009
Tim Lincecum was masterful again on Saturday, striking out nine Astros in seven innings of work, as San Francisco rolled to an 9-0 victory on the Fourth of July.

Our View:Lincecum has looked every bit as dominant this season as he did in his 2008 Cy Young award winning campaign, as is the early favorite to win it again this year. He is also surely on the short list of potential All-Star game starters for the National League.
June 29, 2009
Tim Lincecum hurled a gem in Monday's 10-0 win at St. Louis, as he only surrendered two hits over nine scoreless innings. He issued no walks and fired eight strikeouts.

Our View:The reigning Cy Young winner collected his third complete game and second shutout of the season. He currently ranks second in the NL with a 2.37 ERA, and first with 132 strikeouts.
June 26, 2009
Tim Lincecum currently has better strikeout, walk and home run rates than during his Cy Young award-winning 2008 season, according to Sports Illustrated.

Our View:"The Freak" has thrown two complete games in his last three starts, piling up 33 strikeouts in 26 innings to go along with two wins. He is an elite, if not the most elite, fantasy starting pitcher out there.
June 23, 2009
Tim Lincecum threw his second complete game of the season on Tuesday, striking out 12 while allowing only one run as the Giants beat the A's 4-1.

Our View:After a sluggish start, Lincecum has rounded firmly into his Cy Young form, and should be a contender for the award again this season. Through 15 starts, he is 7-2 with a 2.57 ERA and 124 Ks.
