Clay Hensley has inked a minor league deal with the Marlins, according to TSN.

Our View:The 29-year-old hurler has a career 4.09 ERA in the majors, and only fired 206 strikeouts over 323.2 innings. He does not merit fantasy consideration while providing organizational depth in the minors.

Clay Hensley needs to work on his timing and mechanics after surrendering eight runs (four earned) in Sunday's exhibition game against the Mets, according to the Houston Chronicle. He said, "It was all timing. I was rushing really bad. My arm was dragging and I was throwing on the side almost, and that is not how I pitch. I was just not gathering myself and giving myself time to load up over the rubber. We worked on it (Monday) on the mound and it was back to normal."

Our View:Hensley does not look to hold much fantasy value as a middle reliever this season.

Clay Hensley has inked a minor league deal worth $550,000 with the Astros, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:Hensley is recovering from surgery to repair a torn labrum. He will have a shot to make the Astros as a reliever if he proves to be healthy.

Our View:These moves aren't to surprising, as neither player figured into San Diego's future much and the club is trying to shed as much payroll as possible.

Our View:Kevin Towers is expected to discuss a trade with Reds' GM Walt Jocketty, who is a friend. Hensley struggled with a 5.31 ERA and 1.56 WHIP this season, and his totals will not improve by leaving PETCO Park for the hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark.
