Franquelis Osoria has cleared waivers and has been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Our View:Osoria remains with Pittsburgh and could get recalled in September, but won't hold much fantasy value, with a 6.08 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over 60.2 innings of relief, with only 31 strikeouts.

Franquelis Osoria was hit hard, surrendering four runs in one-third of an inning, raising his ERA to 6.58 on the year.

Our View:This was only his second game after coming back from the disabled list, so it's possible he had some rust on him. He holds no fantasy value due to the fact that he does not accumulate many holds.

Franquelis Osoria has recovered from bursitis in his right ankle and has been activated from the DL, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Luis Munoz was optioned back to Double-A Altoona to make room on the roster.

Our View:Osoria allowed 35 earned runs, 75 hits, and 11 walks over 52.1 innings this season, with only 27 strikeouts. The reliever should not be considered for your fantasy team.

Reliever Franquelis Osoria has been placed on the 15-day DL due to bursitis in his right ankle, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The team recalled TJ Beam from Triple-A to fill Osoria's spot on the roster.

Our View:The ailment bothers him when he pushes off during his delivery, and his ankle has been sore the past five days or so. He allowed 35 earned runs and 75 hits over 52.1 innings this season, and the team can afford to lose his services while he recovers.
