Willie Eyre has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Our View:In 10.1 major league innings this season, Eyre has a 3.48 ERA. He will likely be used sparingly.

Willie Eyre hs been recalled by the Rangers from Triple-A Oklahoma City, according to MLBblogs.com.

Our View:Eyre holds a 4.91 ERA and poor 1.50 WHIP over 7.1 innings of relief this season, and does not merit fantasy consideration.

Willie Eyre has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, according to MLBlogs.com. The team made the move to make room for the promotion of Guillermo Moscoso.

Our View:Eyre has only thrown 7.1 innings for the Rangers this season, and he has accumulated a 4.91 ERA while only striking out two. He is better suited for work in the minors for now, so this move should benefit the Rangers' bullpen.
July 20, 2009
The Rangers called up Willie Eyre from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Our View:Eyre, who replaces the DL-bound Frank Francisco on Texas' roster, will be used in middle relief. He's been solid with a 2.29 ERA and 1.07 WHIP over 19.2 innings (10 appearances, two starts) at Triple-A this season, though he's been mostly ineffective with a 5.06 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 5.1 innings (four appearances) in the majors this year. With that said, there's no reason for fantasy owners to know his name.
June 29, 2009
As expected, Willie Eyre has been sent down to Triple-A Oklahoma City by the Rangers to make room for outfielder Julio Borbon on the roster, according to TSN.

Our View:He was limited to only 5.1 innings of relief this season due to a strained right groin, and the 30-year-old vet held no fantasy value.
