September 20, 2008 Jorge Campillo only allowed two earned runs on five hits over six innings in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Mets, with two walks and two strikeouts. Our View:Campillo claimed his first win since August 8th, and allowed less than three earned runs for the first time since August 3rd. He should not be considered for fantasy lineups for the last week of the season despite his solid outing tonight. |

September 14, 2008 Jorge Campillo allowed eight hits and walk in just 3.1 innings on Sunday, and though he allowed four runs (three earned), he was able to emerge with a no-decision thanks to the Braves offense. Our View:Campillo emerged from the game with a solid 3.79 ERA, but that mark has now gone up in each of his last eight starts (from a low of 2.58 on August 3rd). He is taking on water as the season nears its completion. |

August 18, 2008 Jorge Campillo allowed five runs on seven hits and a while with two strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Giants. Our View:Campillo has finally come back to earth, as this is the third straight game in which he's allowed five runs. Hopefully you solid high on him when you had the chance. |

Our View:This is two rocky starts in a row, and Campillo's ERA is now above 3.00. Continue using him in fantasy play unless he really starts to fall apart. |

August 9, 2008 Jorge Campillo struggled on Friday night, but he still held on to win his seventh game of the year. Campillo didn't walk a batter, but he allowed eight hits over 6.1 innings. Our View:This was the first time in seven starts that he allowed more than three earned runs and even with the poor outing his ERA is still a fantastic 2.83 in 114.1 IP. |
