September 28, 2008 Chris Young accounted for both RBI in Arizona's 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday. He hit a solo home run in the eighth and drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth. Our View:Young salvaged an otherwise bad season in the final two months by hitting eight home runs and hitting well above his .248 seasonal mark. |

September 25, 2008 Diamondbacks center fielder Chris Young has been playing well for the last two months, and since August 4, he has has a .294 batting average and 22 extra-base hits, according to the Our View:This speaks to how poorly Young was performing in the season's early stages, as his batting average is now at .247. He will remain intriguing to fantasy owners next season because of his power-speed combination, but will need to cut down on his 162 Ks. |

September 23, 2008 Chris Young had a two-run homer and a sac fly in Arizona's loss to the Cardinals Tuesday. Our View:Young's owners have to be disappointed with his season, but 21 homers and 14 steals isn't too bad for the youngster. He has also upped his batting average 11 points, though it's still at a lowly .248. |

September 21, 2008 Chris Young had four hits including a single, triple and his 20th home run of the year on Sunday. Young also drove in four runs while scoring four times on the afternoon. Our View:After missing a 30/30 season last year by just three steals, Young will need a huge final week just to go 20/20 this season (he has 14 steals). He has knocked in 79 runs, 11 more than last season, but he has a whopping 159 K and simply must make better contact to offer the type of production his skills dictate he should. |

September 17, 2008 Chris Young was out of Tuesday's lineup after injuring his left wrist during an at-bat Monday, according to the Our View:Manager Bob Melvin noted that he tweaked his wrist, and is hopeful he can return Wednesday without any issues. |
