Player Notes
July 19, 2008
Greg Aquino was placed on the DL Saturday with a left hamstring strain. The move was retroactive to July 13.

Our View:Considering Aquino held a 12.54 ERA in nine games, the O's likely aren't upset about making this move. Randor Bierd replaces him on the roster.
July 5, 2008
The Orioles purchased the contract of Greg Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Our View:Aquino has no fantasy value, especially after posting a 14.21 ERA in his previous stint with the Orioles.
December 14, 2007
The Orioles claimed Greg Aquino off waivers from the Brewers on Friday. Aquino posted a 4.50 ERA in 15 relief appearances last year, but he spent the majority of his time in Triple-A. Despite the fact that Baltimore doesn't have an established closer, don't expect Aquino to be considered for the role.
December 12, 2007
The Brewers avoided arbitration by signing Greg Aquino to a one-year deal Wednesday. Aquino held a 4.50 ERA in 15 games for the Brewers in 2007.
May 26, 2007
The Brewers activated Greg Aquino from the disabled list Friday and immediately optioned him to Triple-A Nashville, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Brewers attempted to send him down in April before he told them about his tight forearm, at which point he was recalled and placed on the disabled list.
