The Yankees may be interested in trading for Huston Street of the Rockies, according to MLB.com.

Our View:Street would be a strong setup man for the Yankees, but it is uncertain what the Yankees would have to give up to acquire him.

The Mets offered Aaron Heilman in a trade for reliever Huston Street, but the Rockies shot down the deal after the Mets also asked for Pedro Feliciano, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com.

Our View:If the Mets did acquire Street, they would still likely pursue closers Francisco Rodriguez or Brian Fuentes, moving Street to a setup role.

The Mets are reportedly interested in trading for Huston Street of the Rockies, according to NYBaseballDigest.com.

Our View:The Mets would like to use Street as a setup man, with the assumption they will land either Francisco Rodriguez or Brian Fuentes to be their closer. Aaron Heilman would be expected to be part of a trade with the Rockies, who wanted Heilman to be part of their rotation since 2006.
November 20, 2008
The Cleveland Indians are said to have some interest in Huston Street if the Rockies lower their asking price for the one-time closer, according to Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Our View:The Rockies acquired Street in the Matt Holliday deal, and now they are listening to offers for him. The Indians are looking for a closer and Street does have 94 saves in four years.

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports that the Rockies will listen to offers for newly acquired reliever Huston Street.

Our View:Street recently spoke with Colorado's team management, and stated that he expects to be with the Rockies in 2009, instead of being traded. We will keep you posted on the situation. Manny Corpas would be the top candidate to close games if Street is dealt.
