Scout.com reports that Andre Ethier has been named the "Clutch Performer of the Year", an award presented by Pepsi. The award is sanctioned by the MLB and voted upon by fans.

Our View:Ethier led the majors with six walk-off hits including four home runs. He had six multi-home run games this season and had 31 home runs total.
October 21, 2009
Andre Ethier went 2-for-4 with a home run, a run scored, and an RBI as the Dodgers were eliminated in five games by the Phillies on Wednesday.

Our View:There hasn't been many good things to say about the Dodgers in this series, but Ethier had a very nice postseason. He broke out this year with 31 homers, and he should be a very nice fantasy player for years to come.
October 16, 2009
Andre Ethier went 0-for-3 with an RBI in Friday's 2-1 win over the Phillies in Game 2 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium. The series is now tied at 1-1.

Our View:The Dodgers pulled out a win, despite only having five hits in the game. Ethier picked up his second RBI of the series, and will try to lead the Dodgers to another win in Game 3 at Citizens Bank Park.
October 15, 2009
Andre Ethier went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored on Thursday, but still couldn't lead the Dodgers past the Phillies, as L.A. lost game one of the NLCS 8-6 at home.

Our View:Ethier has certainly been coming up big in the playoffs, but it looks like he'll have to do even more if the Dodgers are to have a chance against Philadelphia's imposing lineup.
October 8, 2009
Andre Ethier homered in fourth inning of Thursday's game, representing the only run allowed by Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright. The Dodgers rallied for a walk-off winner though and won 3-2, extending their NLDS lead to 2-0.

Our View:Ethier got the Dodgers on the board, but an error by Matt Holliday with two outs in the ninth gave them hope. Ronnie Belliard singled to tie the game at two and pinch hitter Mark Loretta won it with a walk-off base hit.
