Andre Ethier went 2-for-4 with two RBI in today's 5-4 win over the Rangers in the Cactus League. He hit a single and a triple.

Our View:Ethier is performing fine in spring training, and should be a hot fantasy pick among outfielders after breaking out with 31 homers and 106 RBI in 2009. He is still yet to reach his maximum potential.

Andre Ethier ripped his second homer of the spring in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Royals.

Our View:Ethier took Gil Meche deep for a three-run shot in the third inning, and it was his only hit in two at-bats. The young slugger emerged as a legit power threat last season, clubbing 31 long balls, and should continue to climb fantasy lists as one of the most heralded young outfielders.

Andre Ethier's new two-year deal with the Dodgers became official on Wednesday.

Our View:The young, star outfielder will be making $15.25 million the next two seasons. If they are anything like his 2009 one, in which he hit .272 with 31 home runs and 106 RBI, he will be getting a much bigger contract in 2012.

The Dodgers and Andre Ethier have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a two-year deal, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick.

Our View:The deal is pending a physical, and there's no word yet on how much it is worth. Ethier topped 30 home runs and 100 RBI last year and served as the Dodgers' top clutch hitter. The rising star will surely be a hot commodity in fantasy drafts this season.

Scout.com reports that Andre Ethier has been named the "Clutch Performer of the Year", an award presented by Pepsi. The award is sanctioned by the MLB and voted upon by fans.

Our View:Ethier led the majors with six walk-off hits including four home runs. He had six multi-home run games this season and had 31 home runs total.
