Due to personal reasons, Josh Willingham is expected to miss "several days" of Nationals Spring Training, according to Bill Ladson of MLB.com.

Our View:Obviously, this shouldn't hurt his fantasy value. Expect him back by the middle of the week.

Josh Willingham is once again believed to be on the Nationals' trading block, according to Buster Olney's (ESPN) twitter page.

Our View:Unloading Willingham could allow Adam Dunn to move from first base back to the outfield. Their interest in Mike Jacobs would then make more sense.

The Nationals and outfielder Josh Willingham avoided arbitration on Tuesday, agreeing to a $4.6 million contract for next season, according to MLB.com.

Our View:After hitting .260 with 24 home runs and 61 RBI in just 133 games in 2009, Willingham should be worth every penny in 2010. He is obviously a must-own in all NL-only leagues, and even worth a look in deeper mixed formats.

The Mets are the latest team to express interest in acquiring Nationals outfielder Josh Willingham, according to William Ladson on Twitter.

Our View:The Giants, Mariners and Braves have all expressed prior interest in the outfielder that hit .260 with 24 home runs last season. He should be moved this offseason, potentially as early as this week at baseball's annual winter meetings.
November 29, 2009
The Boston Globe is reporting that the Giants, Mariners, and Braves have all shown major interest in Nationals' outfielder Josh Willingham. Willingham hit .260 with 24 homers last season.

Our View:The Nats would be willing to listen on Willingham, and it sounds like they might be able to get something decent in return. He is a nice power threat, but the Nats might hesitate to move him since he is under their control for two more seasons.
