Randy Johnson covets a one-year deal and the list of interested MLB teams is nearing double figures, according to ESPN.

Our View:Johnson, who is five wins away from 300, would like to finish his career in his native California, and is currently on the back-burner with the Dodgers.
November 15, 2008
The Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com. states that Randy Johnson may have some interest in playing for St. Louis.

Our View:As of now, there was no indication of discussions regarding Johnson and Cardinals' GM John Mozeliak. The Cardinals would like to address their bullpen and middle infield before pursuing starting pitchers.
November 15, 2008
The Cubs are interested in free agent hurler Randy Johnson, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Our View:Johnson is 11-0 with a 1.85 ERA over 12 career starts against the Cubs, and is 3-0 over four outings at Wrigley Field, so it is easy to understand why Chicago is interested, especially since they may be able to land him with a one-year contract.
November 14, 2008
Randy Johnson is reportedly high on the Dodgers' target list, according to MLBblogs.com.

Our View:Johnson is only five wins away from 300, and could reach the milestone while pitching for the NL West champion Dodgers.
November 13, 2008
Randy Johnson filed for free agency on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Randy Johnson might consider a pay cut to stay with Arizona, but it's doubtful he'd be willing to sign for the $5 million or less that the Diamondbacks have allotted for bringing him back.
