Dave Bush has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a fatigued right arm.

Our View:Bush has been awful of late, giving up four or more earned runs in six straight starts. Whether it's actually arm fatigue or just ineffective pitching is unclear, but it is clear that he's isn't worth a roster spot in most leagues right now.

Dave Bush continued his run of terrible starts on Saturday as the Brewers fell to the Tigers 9-5. Bush lasted only three innings and allowed five runs on seven hits while striking out one. He is now 3-4 on the year, and he has not won in his last six starts.

Our View:The Brewers need to consider replacing Bush at this point, because he is killing them every time he takes the mound. He is only getting three or four innings into games, and he can't get anyone out. Stay away from Bush in all fantasy leagues, as he holds no value at this point.
June 15, 2009
Dave Bush was lit up for eight earned runs on six hits over a mere 3.1 innings of work in Monday's 14-12 win at Cleveland. He had two walks, two strikeouts and gave up two homers.

Our View:He took a no-decision and is winless over his last five starts, and has allowed four or more earned runs four times over the span. He is not fit for fantasy duty right now.

Dave Bush remains on schedule to start Wednesday's game against the Rockies, according to MLBblogs.com. He took a line drive off his pitching elbow in last Thursday's game at Florida.

Our View:He has been on his regular routine, and the club believes he is fine. Bush should be safe to employ in fantasy lineups if he is a regular contributor to your team.

Dave Bush played catch Saturday for the first time since taking a line drive off his pitching arm during Thursday's game at Florida, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Bush felt no discomfort, and was encouraged regarding his availability for his next scheduled start. He will throw a bullpen session today, and will get the green light for Wednesday's game against Colorado if he throws fine without any issues.
