Player Notes
June 23, 2009
Travis Ishikawa went 1-for-2 with a solo homer off Trevor Cahill, and recorded the Giants' lone RBI in Monday's 5-1 loss at Oakland.

Our View:Ishikawa is enjoying a power surge as he swatted his third homer over his last four games. He only collected one homer in the entire month of May, and hit none in April.
June 12, 2009
Travis Ishikawa has been activated from the bereavement list, according to TSN. He needed time away from the Giants to attend his grandfather's funeral.

Our View:Ishikawa should be fine to return to fantasy lineups if he is a regular contributor to your team.

Travis Ishikawa is going to be placed on the bereavement list to attend his grandfather's funeral, according to the Mercury News.

Our View:The funeral service will be in southern California, and Ishikawa is expected to be away from the Giants for the next few days.
May 25, 2009
Travis Ishikawa was 4-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base, three RBI, and three runs scored as the Giants defeated the Braves 8-2 on Monday.

Our View:Ishikawa has been losing starts to Jesus Guzman of late, but he started each of the last two games. His performance today jumped his average from .219 to .250.
May 24, 2009
The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that Travis Ishikawa will lose some playing time to Jesus Guzman in the future. Ishikawa has struggled mightily to start the season, hitting only .226 on the year.

Our View:GM Brian Sabean is tired of his team not hitting, so he has decided to give other players a chance in place of those who aren't getting it done. It looks like it will be a platoon situation here, so both players have very little fantasy value.
