March 4, 2010 David Aardsma experienced some soreness in his groin after today's exhibition game against the Padres, according to Our View:Aardsma may be held out of his next scheduled appearance, and skipper Don Wakamatsu hopes his injury gets better before manifesting into a serious issue. |

January 19, 2010 According to Jim Street on Our View:Aardsma had a fantastic season as a first-year closer and it's surprising he didn't get a nicer payout from the Mariners. With 38 saves, a 2.52 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 71.1 innings, he was one of the better fantasy closers last year. |

September 23, 2009 After being unavailable to close on Tuesday because of back stiffness, David Aardsma will get the ball in a save situation on Wednesday, according to Our View:Aardsma has a spectacular 2.02 ERA in 68 appearances this season, registering 35 saves along the way. |
