Our View:Glavine got his first win of the season, but we doubt he's terribly happy with the effort.
May 9, 2008 Tom Glavine did what he does best on Friday night in Pittsburgh, he kept his team in the game. The left-hander allowed two runs on five hits, walked four and struck out three in seven innings of work.
Our View:Glavine lowered his ERA to 4.03 but his 1.73 WHIP didn't improve much with his four walks.

Our View:Glavine is 22-12 with a 3.12 ERA against the Pirates in his career. Glavine was rocked for six runs in his last start (against Cincinnati) but has only allowed five earned runs in his four previous starts. He is pitching well overall, despite not having any wins, and he is worth starting tonight.
April 29, 2008 Tom Glavine showed no ill effects from his hamstring injury Tuesday, limiting the Nationals to two runs over six innings. He left with the game tied and received a no-decision in what was his first start since return from the first DL stint of his career.
Our View:The Nationals lineup doesn't exactly resemble the 1927 Yankees, but this was a positive for Glavine owners nonetheless.
