Nate Robertson will start Game 1 of the ALDS versus the Yankees on Tuesday. The Tigers will send Justin Verlander out for Game 2 and follow him up with Kenny Rogers for the third game. The Yankees will go with Chien-Ming Wang, Mike Mussina and Randy Johnson.

Nate Robertson said Tuesday that his side feels better and he should have no trouble making his next start on Saturday night against Baltimore, according to the Detroit News. He was hit in the ribcage by a batted ball during his last outing.

The Detroit News reports that Nate Robertson was hit by a line drive during his outing on Saturday. He was in enough pain yesterday that he will have X-rays taken of his chest to make sure he didn't break a rib. "He's having a little trouble with deep breaths, real deep breaths," manager Jim Leyland said, "but it's not too bad."
