Sergio Santos has been outrighted to Triple-A Rochester by the Twins, according to MLB.com.

Our View:The 25-year old shortstop was once a highly-touted prospect as a first-round pick in the Diamondbacks' organization, and was claimed off waivers from Toronto back in May. He has favorable power for a shortstop.

The Twins have claimed Sergio Santos off waivers from the Blue Jays. The infielder was designated for assignment last week after the Jays acquired Brad Wilkerson and Kevin Mench.

Our View:Santos had played all of his minor league games at shortstop before this year, when he moved over to third base. He is a former first-round pick, belted 20 homers last year at Double-A and is still just 24, so this seems to be a worthy move by the Twins.

Infielder Sergio Santos has been designated for assignment, according to MLB.com. The team acquired outfielders Brad Wilkerson and Kevin Mench, and Santos was moved to free up roster space.

Our View:Santos did not register any at-bats this season, and held no fantasy value prior to today's move.
