July 3, 2009 MLB.com's Jordan Bastian is reporting on his Twitter page that the Blue Jays have designated Russ Adams for assignment. In a corresponding move, the team recalled outfielder David Dellucci from Triple-A. Our View:Adams was 4-for-20 with the Jays this season, and he was not a player who had any impact on the team. Dellucci should provide a better option, and Adams will not have any fantasy value regardless of where he ends up. |
