Our View:It wasn't a bad outing for Saunders, but the Angels provided no run support to give him a chance to win. He falls to 11-4, and is 4-3 over his last seven starts.

Joe Saunders just keeps on winning. The lefty allowed only two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings Saturday to run his record to 11-3.

Our View:We continue to remain as skeptical as we can with Saunders' low K and hit rate, but it's becoming harder and harder to be a non-believer.

Saunders is 10-3 with a 3.06 ERA and strong 1.13 WHIP. This will be his first appearance against the Phillies, but holds a 5-1 record with a 1.77 ERA on the road this season.

Our View:Saunders is coming off another great outing, as he threw 7.1 scoreless innings against Atlanta, with only six hits allowed. That was the seventh time he allowed one or no runs in a start.
