Times. Our View:Santana has had a brilliant season, but clearly performs better with Mathis catching. Nonetheless, the big right-hander has 15 wins and 200 strikeouts in 205.1 innings on the year, much to the benefit of fantasy owners. |

Santana had been sent to Triple-A for a time last season due to ineffectiveness following a career-best 16 wins in 2006. The 25-year-old right-hander was good enough to get a win on Tuesday in Tampa Bay, but did not factor in the decision of his team's 4-2 loss despite surrendering just a run and four hits in seven innings. Santana defeated the Twins the last time he faced them and is 2-1 lifetime against Minnesota with a 3.42 ERA in four starts. |
