The Blue Jays have decided to shut down Reed Johnson for the remainder of the season, according to the Toronto Star. He apparently has been playing through a stress fracture in his lower right shin for 4-6 weeks. "I'd been having good days and bad days," said Johnson, "but the good days slowly started weeding themselves out."
